Eligibility Requirements

(1) Fixture efficiency must exceed 75% for 2x4 parabolic fixtures, 83% for prismatic fixtures, or 70% for 2x2 parabolic louver fixtures
(2) Standard Fixture: efficiency must exceed 64% with 2 or 3 lamps and must meet IES RP1 Preffered Criteria. Advanced Recessed (volumetric) Fluorescent 2x4: overall fixture efficiency must be 75% or greater and must be equipped with glare reducing diffusers.
(3) Minimum Reflectivity 87%, no white reflectors
(4) Installation height equal to 16 or more ft
(5) Up to 20% up-light as an integral fixture (typical slots) may be included but only in instances where white or light colored walls and ceiling exist
(6) Customers with average monthly demand of 200k W or greater, or chain/national account customers are not eligible.
(7) Not eligible for rooms greater than 251 square ft.
(8) Switch plate mounted, not eligible
(9) Manuel “ON” override switches are not eligible
(10) Minimum of 4 ballasts per control
(11) Control applications required by the MA Energy Code are not eligible
